Swing of San Diego. Calif., became the bride of John H. Kataenbach of Punamulr, Calif., ta ft quiet ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Swing on the old Cen tral Point highway. Tha bride la a sister of M. J. Swing. The service was read at 1 :30 o'clock. The bride waa attended by her aUter. Peggy Swing, aa maid of honor and her niece, Mercedes Swing, aa Junior maid of honor. Other members of the wadding party were Clarence and Daniel Swing. Tha bride wore forget-me-not blue taffeta and a corsage of orange blos soms and pink rosebuds, the blos soms being repeated In a circlet worn on her head. The maid of honor was gowned In yellow taffeta with a matching rosebud corsage and the Junior maid wore pink taffeta with pink rosebuds. Delphiniums, Cecil Brunner roses and columbine decor ated the rooms. A wedding dinner followed the ceremony, with, a three-tiered wed ding cake centering the table. Les Gillman Hurt When Car Upsets Les Gillman, son of George Gillman of the Gillman dairy, route 3. waa slightly Injured yesterday when hta car overturned on the highway near Astoria, according to report received here today. Mr. GiUrnan waa en route to Astoria to the state convention of Eagles lodges. While details of: the accident could not be learned today, It waa reported his automobile waa consid erably damaged. June 35. (UP) Thirteen children were Injured, one critically, last night when the center pole of a carnival riding device known as a "merry mtxup" collapsed and hurled them to the ground. . Tha children were riding In Indivi dual chairs suspended by chains from the pole. While the chairs were re volving the support gave way. The children fell screaming. Elna Pecora, 14, waa the most seri ously hurt. She suffered a broken back. ... Delay Obtained In Sale Of St Marys SAN FRANCISCO. June 35 (DP) A bondholders' protective committee today postponed until July 33 the forasclosure sale of the property of St. Mary's college, famed for Its foot ball teams. . The sale was scheduled for tomor row. F. 7. Janney, chairman of the bondholders' committee, announced the postponement. An effort Is now under way to raise funds to repurchase the property when It comes up for sale, William J. Fitzgerald, attorney for the college board -of trustees, said. Death Decree For Rockford Slayer LONOKE, Ark., June 35. (UP) Lester Brockelhurst, 33-year-old for mer Rockford. 111., Sunday school teacher, last night waa convicted of first degree murder for the slaying of Victor Gates, Little Rock planter.
