Reunion of S liters Mrs. Julia Jef fries of Los Angeles arrived recently for an extended visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. Hinman of 013 West 10th street. Mrs. Jeffries and Mrs. Hin man are sisters. They had not seen eaeh other for 15 years. Mark Promotion Day Christian Endeavor and Missionary societies of the First Christian church met Sun day evening to observe promotion day. Adult members served refresh ments to about 40 members and guests. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Drum mond, missionaries from India, and Mr. and Mrs. Horace Mitchell of Ash land, parents of Miss Hattle Mitchell, African missionary, were among spe cial guests. The Impressive promo tion services were held In the flower decorated church auditorium, with the senior members In charge. Mrs. Drummond spoke on "Young People of India," comparing them with American youth. Medford Publicized His decorated duralumin -covered trailer has been the center of curiosity all along the route to Chicago, It was stated In a letter received today from E. J. Klein, Med ford tailor. With Mrs. Klein and their sons, Mr. Klein is making motor tour to Jersey City, N. J to visit a brother he has not seen In 97 years. The silvery sides of the Klein trailer are decorated with paintings of Rogue valley pears and apples, with large red arrows point ing to the name Medford, Oregon. All along the route, Mr. Klein wrote, persons have stopped to Inspect the trailer and Inquire about Medford. From Chicago eastward Mr. Klaln aatd he would distribute literature put out by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. Here from Lake Mr. and Mrs. C. p.
