It was announced today by Rogue River national forest headquarters. Plowing from now on will be made at the rate of a mile a day, 11 days being required to complete the clearing to the lake re sort, the forest office said. The high way Is now clear for 12 miles from the Crater Lake highway Junction and anglers may drive to the Rogue river bridge for fishing. The plow ing work Is being done by the United States forest service. Driver Teals Persons planning to take motorcar driver examinations are requested by the secretary of state's office to study the rule books procurable at city and state police headquarters. Examinations will be held here as usual on Saturday, con ducted by Ward McReynolds. state examiner, who will be at city hall from 8 a. m. to 8 p. m. Mr. Mc Reynolds will also accept renewal ap plications for operator licenses.
