Alvln Brltt and Pete Beleaatro meet in the top event of Promoter Mack Lillard's weekly grappling card at the Medford Armory Monday night, and, thank to the local boxing commis sion. Pete can feel fairly certain of leaving the ring when the evening's entertainment is over with both arms Intant. 'It could very easily have been oth erwise. If, for Instance, the Messrs. Schade, Erickson. Jerome, Bingham and Krcsse had been looking out of the window last Monday when Brltt well-nigh ripped Toots Estes flippers from their respective sockets, then Pete would undoubtedly be In for a rough evening. But, as said mem bers of the boxing commlsh were not gazing elsewhere when Alvln perpe trated his Insult to the entire game of wrestling. Belcastdo may enter the arena of mortal combat secure In the knowledge that some guy won't grab his arm and break it over the top strand of the ring ropes. From now on and hereafter, that ungentlemanly maneuver as practic ed solely by Brltt, who should know better as an ex-Junior heavyweight champion of the entire world, will be strictly barred from the local ring. The commission turned thumbs down on the arm-breaker immedi ately following Brltt's disqualification In his Estes match, and all and sun dry are glad of It. In the middle event, Lilian! will present two of the fastest and clean est grapplers to ever appear in Med ford, namely: Toots Estes and Cow boy Billy McEwen.
