T LI WHEN CAR HITS POLE Burt Luman. 10, Medford youth, received possible serious Injuries at 3:20 a. m. today when the car he was driving apparently hit a tele phone pole at the Intersection of South Riverside avenue and Twelfth street, according to police. Luman was taken to Community hospital following the accident. The attending physician stated today It was Impossible to determine the ex tent of Injuries until X-ray pictures, taken this morning, were developed. H waa suffering from severe back Injuries, it was said, but was resting fairly comfortably. City police, who Investigated the mishap, said that Luman evidently skidded on loose gravel In making a reverse turn at Twelfth street while traveling south on Riverside avenue, his car smashing Into a telephone pole on the northeast corner of the Inter section. The door handle of the car was found sticking In the telephone pole following the accident, police report. Born to Mr. and Mrs. J. T.
