Conley, who is a sister of Mr. Jones and who visited the Jones family In Central Point some time ago. At Weavervllle, Cal., they were gueata of Dr. Byron Frank, an uncle of Mr. Jones. They also spent one day at Lake Tahoe, and visited briefly In Reno, Nev. Mrs. L. H. Smith. Miss Arlene Hay and Mlas Zaldee Smith were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Farra. Pete Pomeroy, Sidney Brlstow, C. E. Smith and Don Smith were on au unsuccessful hunting trip to Klamath Falls Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Cassman were hosta on Thanksgiving day to the following dinner guests: Mr. and Mra. Reynolds and four children, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Johnson and three children from Bridge, Ore.. November 27, at the Sacred Heart hospital, Medford. An drew waa thr second son of Mr. and Mrs- James Vauzel of Sanborn. Iowa, and waa born February 1, 1910. He came to Central Point last May and was employed on the David Wilson farm at Willow Springs. In Septem ber a felon developed on hta thumb which after several days became In fected. His older brother Ralph ar rived In September and was at his side during hospital treatment, until the end. The body, in charge of the Perl funeral home, was forwarded to Sanborn, Iowa, for burial, accom panied by his brother. Walter Ricks attended the party given December 1 by the county extension unit committee to honor the unit chairman. Twenty-seven ladles enjoyed the extension unit meeting held at the home of Mrs. Grace Crawford De cember 2. Mra. Swing and Mrs. Craw ford gave a very instructive demon stration of salads and salad dressing. Mesdames McOraw, Olllman, Elledge, Jackson. Croucher and Strayer Joined the unit. Mra.
