Rev. and Mrs. Brown who tpent several years In the Hawaiian Islands have located In our neighborhood They have moved into the Ed Mar shall house. On account of not being able to secure the Pern Valley school bouse, they will hold services at their home on Sunday, Tuesday Thursday and Friday evenings. Everybody Is given a cordial Invitation to attend these services. Mrs. L. H. Hughes accompanied Dr and Mrs. Pralk Roberts to Klamath Palls Saturday, returlnng Sunday ovening. (AP) Five shots, fired In the privacy of a fashionable hotel apartment, last night ended the lives of Ed Ballard, 83, multl-mllllonaire sportsman of French Lick, Ind., and Robert Alevsn aer, 88, Detroit, Mich., a former bust uess associate. Ballard was found dead, Alexander dying, when hotel employee forced an entranoe to the apartment. Detective Herbert Akers and Coron- r J. P. Randolph announced It was ."pu w wuiw muu suiciao. 1 ney said Investigation indicated Alexan der shot Ballard and himself. Akers said he was convinced re cent 6380,000 breach of contract suit filed by Alexander against Ballard, In Miami, Fla., led to the fatal shoot-' lng. TALENT, Nov. 9. (Spl.) Mrs. Maude Renton of Ohlloquln was visit ing friends Sunday, Harry Naugle returned from Rose burg Saturday, Harland Lowe and Kenton Rooblns attended a banquet by the national guardsmen of Ashland, Thursda?. Frank Smith who has been visit ing his daughter, Mrs. Oro Boyd of Astoria, returned home Monday.
