Richards of Alameda. Cal., will soon be welcomed to Mcdford aoclety as Mrs. Edward Efteland. Mr, Efteland left this morning for Ber keley, where he and Miss Richards are to be married Saturday. Miss Richards Is a former Portland girl. The ceremony Is to be solemnised at the bride's home at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Attending the bride will be Mlas Thelma Reavls of Alameda, while Harold Relchsteln, of this city, accompanied Mr. Efteland south today' and will act as best man, Mrs, Reichateln Is already In the bay district, having been vacationing there. The bride and groom will return to Medford early next week after a short wedding trip up the Redwood high' way. They will be at home to Med ford friends at 26 South Orange street. Mr. Efteland, who has resided here for the past year and a half, has made many friends who aro Interested In the coming wedding. He Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Efteland of Portland, Ma former home. A dispute ensued, and in a struggle for possession of a revolver which Miss Meyerle had picked up, the weapon was discharged. . Three bul lets struck Lister.
