BLOOD TO SAVE GOLD HILL LADY Mrs. Imogene Mellen of Oold Hilt owed her life yesterday to a youth in Jackson county Jail who gave a quart of hla blood to pull her through a Mra. MeUen, taken to Sacred Heart hospital for treatment, waa found to be dangerously close to death Friday night because of an acute anemlo con dition. A blood transfusion waa urg. ently needed but no donors duld be found. A call waa aent to the county Jail for volunteers.
