Under direction otf Miss Mauri ne Carroll and the home eco nomics department all the glrla in the school were given opportunity to hear her. Miss Milam spoke to the girls on a variety of subjects relating to college, she told the experiences of a number of glrla with whom she has worked, at the college. Illustrat ing the many and varied fields In which girls may take college work. The fact that It la very possible for glrla to work their way through col lege was stressed, and ways by which this oould be done were explained. The glrla enjoyed Mlsa Milam's talk and gained, many useful facts from It. Plans for the annual Girls league week at the high school are well under way. Miss Maurlne Carroll, and Mildred Buckles, president of the lengue, are putting forth every effort to make thla week a bigger success than ever before. The week this year will be March 30 to April a. Each year on week la set aside In which the girls take over the school affairs, give their annual assembly, style show, tea, dance snd publish the HI -Times. At the council lunch eon Monday theae activities were outlined and then explained fully to the gtrls st the regular meeting which followed. Committees for these various func tions were announced. Chairmen of these committees are: Prances Daly, assembly program; Mary Lou Long, programs fot the week; Florence Rlngoen, decoration for dance; Jean Adams, decoration for style show; Betty Purdln, general committee for style show, and Betty Paeke, decora tion for tea.
