Roy Williams of the Provolt Tele phone exchange, had all kinds of trouble keeping the lines open to service, snd the building of the Mur phy-Pro volt road has kept him busy constantly putting in new poles tnrt lines, keeping the line open to Grants Pass. Line to the Missouri Flat waa without service for about five days. the line being broken directly above the center of Applegate river and the water being too high and gwlit for repairs to be possible.
