Mrs. Orvllle Henderson received a letter from Los Angeles Wednesday morning which told ot an automobile accident In which her daughter, Muriel, suffered several severe bruises and cuts about the head and face which necessitated her being In a hospital for three days. At the pres ent she is Just able to be up a little with aid. She waa riding with her father-tn-law. Tony McClelland, when their car was struck by another car traveling on the same side ot the road, causing the accident which hap pened so suddenly that neither one of them seem to know Just how or what happened, as both occupants of the McClelland car were knocked un conscious. Mr. McClelland sustained a compound fracture of the seventh vertebrae and la In a cast, besides being badly bruised and shocked. It will be remembered by some that he had another accident this fall In which his wife sustained a broken back and has been In a cast ever since, but who la getting along nlo;ly and wilt soon be able to be up with the aid of a steel brace.
