WHEREAS. Chapter 122 of the Gen eral Laws of Oregon. 1935. authorizes and requires the Oouncll of the City . Med-.d . The city Jail of Talent, another old landmark, ha been torn down and taken away by City Marshal Maxwell. Dirk Verloop. who ha been a lesi dent of Talent for the past five years, passed away at his home on Gibson avenue Saturday. He had been in poor health for the paat year. Mr. Verloop was past 80 years of age at the time of his death. Bingham Shuster, a resident of Talent for the post two years, died at his home on Beeson lane last week. Mr. Shuster was 74 years of age. His wife and rour sons survive to mourn his passing. Everett Boon, while driving on the highway with a team, was a'.ruck by a Sandard OH truck. HI team ran away and Mr. Boon suffered cut and bruise and Internal injuries. Wiley Hill was taken to the Com munity hospital In Ashland Monday, suffering with an abscess of the brain.
