Travel Study Club Holds Post-Vacation Meeting on Monday Monday afternoon the Travel Study club met at the home of Mrs. F. R. Hagarty following the usual vaca tion period. Study topic for tbe remainder or the year is to be South America, with Mrs. W. S. Cool acting as pro gram chairman. Mra. H. F. W. Bptlver opened the study of South America with ft brief but comprehensive map talk, speak ing of the topography, river systeois, boundaries, and of the coastlines ol the various republics and their rela. tlon to each other. The program wos continued with a paper by Mrs. A, R, Hedges on the northern countries of South America. She described tho scenery, climate and river systems and told of the comparative progress of the different republics from their earl iest periods to tho present time, pointing out bow Colombia has far outdistanced Venezuela and the Gulonas, Mrs. C. A Meckor, as guest speak er, presented an account of her trip throuch national onrka of the west, illustrating her talk with pictures and souvenirs.
