(AP) Stolid Joe Louis came to the end of a three weeks training siege tonight, ready, to all appearances, to continue his devastating march through the heavyweight division at the expense of Chicago's King Levlnsky next Wednesday night at.Comlskey park. After watching the brown bomber belt five sparring partners around and out, observers figured that Louis amounted to a 3 to 1 favorite to win his 34th consecutive professional bat tle. With his spectacular triumph over Prlmo Camera only three weeks behind him when he started training, the Detroit Negro had no trouble get ting Into condition. He scaled 193 pounds today, three and one-half pounds under the weight he hurled against Camera The noisy, wild-swinging kingfish, face to face with an opportunity to make the faithful forget about that two-round knockout administered by Max Baer last December In the Chi cago stadium, still has a couple of days of work to be done. He, too, has reached the finest condition of his eventful career. Regardless of what Louis or Levln sky do or fall to do, In the ring, the battle. Chicago's most significant heavyweight offering In several years, seems certain of doing all right fi nancially. Promoter Joe Foley said the cann advance had reached 990,000 tonight. A sac- BELCASTRO ALOOF ABOUT TILT WITH SAD SAM LETHERS Irate over the fact that he was not chosen by Promoter Mack Lll lard for an appearance on laat Thursday's wrestling card at the Armory. Pete Belcaatro, Italian grap pler, was aloof and "aky high" yes terdny when approached regarding a possible match with Bad Sam Leth ers of Texas, with Pete's Pacific coast Junior heavyweight champion ship belt as stakes. Pete was proudly exhibiting the handsome solid silver and gold buckle yesterday. Naturally, Pete want to hang onto the belt, for which he worked hard to win, and he's taking no chances when and If he puts it up in a bout with Lethers. Belcaatro laid down the rules he will wrestle under and although he admits himself they are alr-tlght, he says ho refuses to meet Lethers any other way. Besides demanding a high guar antee and percentage of the gate receipts, Belcnstro states' that the one-hour match will go enly to the winner of two out of three falls, and not to the winner of a possible lone fall. "Sad Snm haa to cut his weight down under 200 pounds,'" Belcaatro further specified, "and In case he wins, he has to agree to meet me under the same regulations to defend his title the following week." Promoter Llllard scoffed but stated that through arbitration, a happy medium may be arrnnfted. so that the match can bo staged next Thursday. Al Stecher. who lost via Boston crnb holds and mennte tactics last Thurfdn; to Johnny Sons of In diana, is also up in the air about things In general. "I'll meet Soos again for nothing."
