Combine les cream powder and sugar, sdd water snd coffee very gradually, stirring until dissolved Then add evaporated milk. Freeze In freezer. Makes l'i qusits. Fresh reach Ice Cream. '., cup sugar Few drops slmond extrsct 2 cups fresh pesch pulp 2 cupa milk 1 package unflavored Ice cream powder 1 cup heavy cresm. Add sugar and almond estract to peach pulp and let stand while ice cream mixture Is being made. Add milk very gradually to ice cream powder, stirring until dissolved; tnen I add cream. Freeze In freezer until thick, but not hard; add sweetened peach pulp and continue freezing Makes l'j quarts Ice cream. The recipe calls for: 2 cups ground H teaspoon Brazil nuta salt 6 eggs 1 cup sugar Grind the nuts (about H pound shelled nuta or l'i cups before grinding) and mix with sugar and salt. Beat egg yolks until foamy and beat In sugar and nut mixture. Beat thoroughly and fold In beaten egg whites. Pour Into 3 greased 8- Inch layer cake pans. Bake In a mod erate oven, 350 degreea F., for 80 minutes. Or pour mixture Into a greased Sl4 inch tube pan or spring form and bake in a alow oven, 325 degrees F.,for 20 minutes; raise the temperature to 375 degrees F. for 10 minutea and then decrease heat to 325 degreea F. for 30 minutes. Frosting 1 egK whites, unbeaten 1H cups brown sugar, firmly packed Salt i tablespoons water pound cut or whole Brazil nuts cup whole nuts) Put egg whites, sugar, salt and water In upper part of double boiler. Beat with an egg beater until well mixed. Place over rapidly boiling water, beating constantly with egg beater and cook 7 minutes, or until frosting will stand in peaks. Remove from Are.
