The Washoe County Court House, where probably more divorce have boon (tecuroH than anywhere else in the world, waa the scene of an interrstinK trial recently whn a new Nash 400 ' hied suit for divorce from "Ancient Engineering", represented by a horseless vohifle of 1900 vintage. The judge said; "Divorce granted!" Tires Should Be Checked Prior to Vacation Outing Automobiles, and especially tire. hould be checked over before the ear owner starts on en extended Fourth of July trip. In the opinion of O. C. Furnas, proprietor of Med ford Service Station, IocaI dealer for The Goodyear Tire Rubber oom pany. "If the car and tires haven't been checked over since the start of the rummer driving season, the wise mo torist will see that this Important matter Is attended to before starting on a holiday tour." Mr. Furnas de clared. "Tires especially should be checked over, tf they haven't had this attention since last summer Smooth worn tires are likely to fiive the motorist trouble at a time when he la all sot to enjoy himself. "Heat la a natural enemy of tire life, and the hot roads of summer time will help cause an old tire to CO bad about aa quickly as any other means. Also, on a rainy day, When pavements are slippery, the danger of skids Is Increased Immeasurably with old tires. New tires relieve the mo torist from any worry or bother with tire trouble, snd (tlve him trouble free miles over the holiday. "Ooodyear Q-3 tires, that are In the public eye a great deal Just now as a result of the Investigations on tire mileage conducted by Joseph A. Faurot. noted detective, have proved especially popular by reason of their long-wesrlng qualities. Persons com ing In to have their tires checked up , at our station have seen these tires i end put them on In place of "smooth ies In order that their summer driv ing might be absolutely without wor ry." Mr, Furnas concluded. STANDARD ENTERS CANADIAN FIELD GIVEN CREDIT, NEW PALMER, Alaska. June 39.
