Joseph Knotts of the First Methodist Epis pal church left this morning on the Shasta for Salem, to attend an annual church conference. The conference lasts one week. Joseph IV Miles, also having been discharged from the CCC, left for his home In San Francisco. Fight to Be Announced Earl Foy announced today that blow-by-blow results of the Camera -Lou la prtae fight will be announced tonight at the American Legion dart game. Tne service will be rendered through West ern Union, with dispatches every two minutes, as the fight Is not to be broadcast from the ringside. The fight is scheduled at 6 o'clock. Pacific standard time. Two-Mller Visits Elbert Sellers of Seattle, who holds the pacific coss record for the two-mile track event, haa been a visitor in Medford over the week-end with his uncle. Dr. . W. Barnum. leaving for his home this morning on the Shasta. Sellers Is returning from the N. C. A. A. track meet at Berkeley, In which he par ticipated. Young, wife of the chairman of the board of the General Electric comfpany. died today at her estate at Riverside, Conn., the General Electric offices announced. Mrs. Owen, the former Josephine Sheldon Edmonds of South Bridge. Mass.. had been in poor health for several years. In the 1928 campaign, when her husband was frequently mentioned as a possible presidential candidate the General Electric chairman said his wife's condition would not permit him to enter actively Into public life.
