(Spl.) After all. there is something new under the sun, and that is a dl:no chain letter, for Mrs. Hester Pence of this district Is experiencing the thrill for the first time in all of her 99 years. A dime came in the mail a few days ago, bringing much Joy to the nged lady who had felt bitter dis couragement at the long wait for her name to top the list. So keen waa her disappointment that she at first believed her dime to be a joke. Mrs, Pence received half a dozen letters, replying to two of them. The fact that she was unable to copy her let ters personally did not detract from her pleasure In playing the game, however.
