An electrical storm hit this part of the valley about 1 :30 on April 14 with a hard rain and some hall. Miss Lillian Owens of Modesto, Calif., Is spending Easter vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Owens, Donald Culbertson of Central Point spent the week-end with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Culbertson. Harold Burton received wordt from Kansas April 11, that his mother was very low and to come home at once. Mr. Burton has been driving the school bus. Ben Oswald has taken the Job of driving the bus. Several musical sel ections were given by the Harwood sisters, violins, and Olive Eldrldge, piano. They also gave several num bers on the tikelele, which were very much enjoyed by all and It Is hoped they will come again. Ruth Carson gave a tap dance, accompanied on the piano by Phyllis Hedgepath. Mrs, John Rader, mother of Mrs. Ina Stanley, Is reported aa having the mumps. Everyone wishes for a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Stlmpson of the 401 ranch entertained April 7 with a birthday dinner In honor of Mrs. Stlmpson's mother, Mrs. J. E. Rummel. Goulder. was pastor of the M. E. Church, South. She endeared herself to both young and old by her graclotis and un selfish ways while mistress of the parsonage and had many frlonda hem. For the last several years her church membership has been wltU the local church. She Is survived by her son, Wm, T.
