"Dear Sir: "I know you will be interested in learning that on & visit to a golf coun-e here in Santa Monica I had an opportunity to 'meet' the Mailed Marvel, who is becoming quite a sen sation in southern California. Be cause of the black mask that he wears of course I could not tell who he is, but after watching him play I assure you that he is no ordinary golfer. He .is surprisingly clever in using a single club for an entire match, which he specializes in doing "I learned that he is contemplat ing a trip north, and that If an op ponent is arranged to meet him he may be willing to play an exhibition match In Medford. ELK CLUB FIGHTS DELAYED BY CCC The opening of the Eiks-CCC fight series, tentatively scheduled for April 18, has been postponed because of the re -enrollment of CCC men and the movement of camps.
