In spite of the wintry atrm, wemen were present. The club was presented with a hand made gavel and stock by Mr. Lang ley of Jack sonville. There had been a need for such an article, but as yet the club doesn't know exactly why Mr. Lang ley thought so. At any rate they had quite an orderly meeting, though the women present were sure It was due more to the absent members than to the gavel. After the business was over the hostess served chicken a la King on hot biscuits, also cake and coffee.
