There was a good attendance and Im portant business was discussed with Mrs. Minnie Card, itate organizer, who was honor guest. Mrs. Card waa presented Tloleta by the usher, MarJorLe Ooddard, and gave a charming response. The meet ing waa made very Interesting with practice drills. Ernest Smith was pre sented his ninth senior major stripe for hl Degree of Honor service cap. After the buslneaa meeting a soc ial program waa begun with read ing bv Katherlne Campbell. Visitors aud visiting mothers were present. 7 adding to the attendance. Refresh ' menu of cake were served. The next meeting will be held In the same hall the first Saturday In April. It la hoped all Jurenllea will be present. Detroit Wedding lias Local Interest News of the engagement of Miss Vlda Walker, Michigan girl, and tnacher in the Detroit schools, and Paul Wanner, son of Mr. and Mrs F. D. Wagner of Ashland, baa reached the University of Oregon campus. The wedding date bas not been set but will take place In the early summer when the couple are planning a non . eymoon trip to Oregon. Mr. Wagner was employed after hU craduatlon from the university in 1930. with the Armstrong Cork com pany at Its factory In Lancaster. Pa. He later Joined the sales department and has had bis headquarters with the Armstrong branch at Detroit since. Oregon Dally Emerald. Popular Acclaim Brings Return of Soloists Tonight Returning by popular acclaim to southern Oregon, David Campbell, concert pianist, and Delberg Frad- enberg, lyric tenor, will apepar at the Baldwin piano shoppe at 8;15 this evening. The two appeared in Ashland in January before one of the most en thusiastic audiences ever to attend In that city, and most of those to hear their first program have indi cated an intention of being present tonight. In view of the limited space at the Baldwin shoppe, those wishing to obtain good seats are advised to arrive early. Trading In the egg market was considered of steady character, al though here and there was a note of easiness where recelepts piled up on some of the smaller operators. Those who attended, all firemen and their lady guests, report having had a wonderful time. After the dance, music tor which was furnish ed by Dickey's orchestra, sandwiches and coffee was served at midnight.
