(SpU Mr. and Mrs. Frank Straus are spend ing a few days in Portland, where Mrs. Straus is receiving medical su pervision at a clinic. Raymond Tresham was released only a few days ago from the hospital after a slight Illness, when he became all from an attack of measles and returned to the Sacred Heart hospital again. Raymond Is an employe of the CCC at Medford. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Straus are guest of relatives In Los Angeles this week. Mr, and Mrs, Wallace Cash man of Trail were business visitors here Mon day. Glenn Garrett was delivering wheat Saturday to Grant Powell at Foots Creek. An interesting and patriotic pro gram was given during the lecture hour of the Sams Valley Grange on Saturday night. Good re ports were given by the argriculture, legislative, H. E., publicity and roads committees. Harry Tonn was ad mitted by demit as a member of the order and Mrs. Bessie Murphy was obligated in the third and fourth de grees by Past Master H. E. Nealon. The H. E. C. chairman, Mrs. J. L. Mrs. Stark and Miss Lynch, who la assisting for Mrs. Beeson during her illness, and the pupils of their rooms enjoyed a valentine party Thursday afternoon. Miss Hussong and her pupils had their party Friday after noon, at which time some of the mothers were present. Miss Helen Lamb and Miss Marl ella Jones entertained with a Valen tine party at the home of the former February 154 for a number of their friends.
