While hens and toms were today being quoted at the same price by buyers, suggestion was made that ow ing to the extreme weights of the torn- most of them ranging above 18 pounds while the demand la not above that weight as a rule. The call was mostly for hen weighing 10 to 13 pounds each. For that rea-i son there was a suggestion that dur-1 lng the next day or so the hens w,l! command a premium of at least one cent over the toms or large size.
