"I feel," she said, "that you have been In the past few yesrs particularly fortunate In having a your honorary president a leader and a woman who already had long experience and In terest In the Olrl Scout movement. In me, unfortunately, you have not had that aame experience, but I can assure you that I bring you much Interest, and I have always had a particular Interest In the girls grow ing up today, and for that reason one must have an Interest In the Olrl Scout movement, for that movo- - ment la exerting a constantly spread ing Influence not only In our own .country but throughout the world, and for a few minute I want to tell you the things which 1 feel the really most Important things that thl. movement la contributing to the girl of today."
