PAGE THREE ANNIVERSARY OF ELKS FOR FEED AND FIGHTS Tha Medford Elks last night cele brated the 25th anniversary of the lodge, with c recprd-breaklng attend ance of Elks and friends from all over the county. It was one of the large6t fitherlngs In the history of local Elk Iom. The festivities were started with a crab and bean feast, In which 35 dozen crabs, fresh from the seashore, were devoured. This was the main eating attraction of the evening. J. V. Thompson was chairman of the crab commntee. A boxing; card furnished by the CCG was the feature of the program. In a match three-cushlcn billiard game, Reginald Plfer and J. V. Wat son defeated Dr. Hayes and H. O. Armstrong. Dr. Hayes was proxy for John Tomlln, whowas unable to at tend. Among the out of town guests were Dr. J. a. Goble of Treka, a charter member of the local order. There was a large delegation of Ashland and Grants Pa Elks present.
