Collision on sixth Cars driven by Aletha Oray. of 112 South Grape and Charles Willis of Rogue River collided Friday at 11:30 a. m when Willis pulled out from the curb on Sixth street near Fir, reports at the city police station show. Return North Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Masters of Portland, who have been In Medford during the recent Illness end death of the late Mrs. E. L. Tarr, whose funeral was on Friday, re turned to their home yesterday on the morning train. Small Fire Suppressed A small for est fire last night In the Butte Falls district, a quarter of a mile esst of the Ooss road and a half mile north of the Carlson camp road, was sup pressed by a forest service guard and CCC men after It had spread over 1750 squsro feet. Hugglns, 35, of 222 Apple street, waa arrested by city police Friday night and taken to the county Jail to be held for in vestigation. Police stated he had been drinking and had cut his wrist with a razor blade. Huggln was also taken to the county doctir for treatment for the arm wounds. Collide on Stewart Avenue Cleo Hicks, 17, of AID Pennsylvania avenue, and W. R. Walker, of Orchard home drive, reported to city police yesterday that their cars collided on Stewart avenue two miles west of Medford Friday evening. The reports show that Walker turned into Stewart avenue from a side road, and that both car were In the center of Stewart avenue when the collision occurred.
