Collision on sixth Cars driven by
Aletha Oray. of 112 South Grape and
Charles Willis of Rogue River collided
Friday at 11:30 a. m when Willis
pulled out from the curb on Sixth
street near Fir, reports at the city

Receive Cuts In Accident Kendell
Shermsn. 20, George Harrington, 19,
both of Crater lake, and O. H. Ttce,
38. of this city, received cuts and
bruises In an accident Friday evening
on the Crater Lake highway near
Rogue Elk. Ttce, who Uvea at 707 Oak
street, was driving the car which col
lided with an auto driven by Gilbert
Bea'h of 24 South Grape. Reports at
the city police station state that Tlce
was crowded off the road when he at
tempted to pass Beath's car.

Held for Investigation E. Hugglns,
35, of 222 Apple street, waa arrested
by city police Friday night and taken
to the county Jail to be held for in
vestigation. Police stated he had been
drinking and had cut his wrist with
a razor blade. Huggln was also taken
to the county doctir for treatment for
the arm wounds.
Collide on Stewart Avenue Cleo
Hicks, 17, of AID Pennsylvania avenue,
and W. R. Walker, of Orchard home
drive, reported to city police yesterday
that their cars collided on Stewart
avenue two miles west of Medford
Friday evening. The reports show that
Walker turned into Stewart avenue
from a side road, and that both car
were In the center of Stewart avenue
when the collision occurred.

"the only crime punishable by law
is stupidity." Yet for all his clever
ness, he is shown as a man who
mixes his love affairs. To rid him-
self of one whom he no longer loves. !
he prepares to create a perfect alibi '
after murdering her. How he almost i
succeeds In his attempt to rover hlfl
crime forms the basis of most of the
action.
The "sock" of the film however,
Is not entirely in the story but In
its original treatment and photog
raphy, the latter of which waa done
by Lee Cannes, winner of the Acad
emy Award for his cleverness and
originality.

been visiting for the past two weeks
in this city with his brother, arl Poy,
manager of the state liquor store, and
at Camp Annie Springs CCC camp
with his other brother, L. N. Poy, who
la camp foreman, returned Thursday
to his home in Los Angeles. He Is
no tod as one of the foremost trumpst
players In Los Angeles, according to
his local brothers, and also as a tal
ented singer. While here, Mr. Poy en
Joyed fishing trips along the Rogue.
