Fechner, director of th Civilian Conservation corps, has sub mitted a report to President Roose velt, In which he expresses his opin ions of necessary changes in the CCC. but' these will not be made public Hon, Mr, until submitted to congress, Mr. Fechner said this morning. The leader In the emergency con servation work said he had several idea for new legislative enactment, which la necessary If the CCC Is to continue after March, 1935. "X do not think that conditions will return to normal by the spring of 1935," Mr. Fechner said, "and for that reason I believe sew legislation for a movement replacing the CCC will be necessary..' The sentences are to run concurrently. Throe complainant appeared and told of having been beaten by mobs led by McCallum on different daya. Municipal Judge Long described the case as "one of real violence, " and he spoke of a "cowardly and brutal attack, and of "gang rule."
