She has been visiting for some time In this city with her aunt, Mrs. John Barneburg. She will visit in San Francisco with her sister en route south. ... To Lake for Fourth Mr. and Mrs B. H. Slngjer, and Mra. Slngler's mother, Mrs. Margaret E. Moore, will leave tomorrow for Lake of the Woods where they will spend the day. They Trill stop at Butte Falls for Everett Moore, who Is superintendent of the government fish hatchery there, and will meet Mrs. Slngler's sister ana brother-in-law at the lake. ... Stage Running The stage to Cra ter lake ls'now running on regular schedule, having started July 1. One trip Is made from this city to the lake and return each day, the atsge leaving the Southern Pacific depot at 8:30 a. m., and starting the return trip at 8 p. m. A regular schedule Is also maintained through Klamath Falls. Accident Reported An accident which occurred June 80 on Sand Creek hill, six miles northwest of Fort Klamath, was reported yesterday at the city police station. The report shows that a government truck driven by Wayne Justus, of the Medford CCC headquarters detachment, wss hit by an auto driven by Oscar Klttrldge, of Silver Lake, Ore., which had only one headlight and was on the wrong side of the road. ... Two Injured In Accident Peart Beale, 80, and B. Beale, 80, both of Crescent, Ore., received minor bruises In an auto accident this momlng on the Pacific highway m which a car driven by George Beale, of Crescent, was hit by a car driven by VIck Boles, of Washington. The report filed at the city police station shows that Boles was driving In the center of the highway. The left front fender and running board of the Beale machine were taken off by the collision. Riddle, be fore continuing for a months' trip to Yellowstone National Park and Can ada. ... Hit Head On Two cars driven by John Norrls, of Jacksonville, and R. Potter, of Steamboat, hit head on when they met on a narrow road along Big Applegate yesterday. As the autos were both being driven slowly, little damage resulted. WITH FIFTY CENTS Fifty cents was a satisfactory haul for a hold-up man who thrust a .38 Colts automatic In the ribs of C. J. Prltchett, manager of the Western Auto Supply Co., 101 South River side at 9:50 last night. Prltchett had left the store for home and was step ping Into his car outside when the hold-up occurred. The bandit, a young fellow, came up behind Prlt chett and demanded his money. Upon being refused, he thrust a gun Into Prltchett's ribs, whereupon he was given 60 cents and left, apparently satisfied. The robber was described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, dark complexloned, with a black mustache, and wearing dark trousers and a light shirt. Prltchett reports that this Is the second time he has been accosted, the first offense harlng occurred two years ago when a single man entered the store as Prltchett was locking up and apparently got "scared out" after demanding to have a check cashed.
