WITH FIFTY CENTS
Fifty cents was a satisfactory haul
for a hold-up man who thrust a .38
Colts automatic In the ribs of C. J.
Prltchett, manager of the Western
Auto Supply Co., 101 South River
side at 9:50 last night. Prltchett had
left the store for home and was step
ping Into his car outside when the
hold-up occurred. The bandit, a
young fellow, came up behind Prlt
chett and demanded his money. Upon
being refused, he thrust a gun Into
Prltchett's ribs, whereupon he was
given 60 cents and left, apparently
satisfied.
The robber was described as 5 feet,
4 inches tall, dark complexloned, with
a black mustache, and wearing dark
trousers and a light shirt.
Prltchett reports that this Is the
second time he has been accosted, the
first offense harlng occurred two
years ago when a single man entered
the store as Prltchett was locking up
and apparently got "scared out" after
demanding to have a check cashed.
