(Spl) Many from here attended the Jubilee and rodeo last week and pronounced both a tremendous success. About 25 hesd of horses were taken from this vicinity and were used In the rodeo and parade. The horses were returned Sunday. Mrs. E. (Grandma) Grlseom of Cll max has been visiting relatives In the valley and spent the last of the week with her daughter. Mrs. Anna Tonn. A marriage of some surprise to their friends was that of Miss Dorotna Meyers to Wallace Ragsdsle June 8 at Reverend Millard's In Medford. Mrs. Ragsdale is the daughter of Herman Meyers of Lake Creek and Mr. Rags dale is the son of Mrs. Ernest Jones, also of Lake Creek. Both young peo ple are well known In the vicinity where they have spent most of their lives. After a short stay at Lake of the Woods they will be at home. Cartney arrived June 4 from his home at Montrose, Calif. He and bis wife are now at Rogue River, where they will enjoy a lew days' fishing.
