John LetUken received word of the death of his brother Will Letteken of Independence, Ore. He left Im mediately 'for Myrtle Creek from where he and his only sister, Mrs. Tom Donovan, went on to Indc pendence for the funeral Friday. Showers during the last week were nice for gardens but quite a lot of hay that was down was damaged. The mountains were covered with fresh snow one or two mornings. Mrs. Grace Rush and sons Charley and Milton, who have been living In one of Harry Cougles houses, are moving to Grants Pass. June 11. (Spl.) 1 Live Oak Grange held an Interesting meeting Monday, with 36 members present. A program was given under the direction of the worthy lecturer. The usual business meeting was hold at the close of which a social hour was enjoyed. The committee served refreshments. June 18, the Live oak Grange will meet at the hall for a pot luck lunch at T30. The evening will be spent socially. Rev. and Mrs. Sidney Harri were visiting In Rogue River Friday, from their home at Wlldervllle.
