Ivy etated that a mandatory loan agreement Involving new total of 19,902,000, and a redraft of resolution had been prepared by him and were awaiting the presidents eifrnature. (Sol) We regret the passing of the beloved pioneer, uncle Jeff Bell, as he has been called lor many years. Mr. Bell was one of the earliest homesteaders of the Talent locality. His home was always open to his friends. He was known In the early pioneer days for nis nospitanty He was a kind father, generous neighbor and a faithful friend. He was affiliated with the Baptist churoh in Talent and remain' ed a faithful Christian until the time of his death. Services were held In the Talent Baptist church, Reverend Peterson of Phoenix preaching the sermon. Interment was In Phoenix cemetery beside his wife, Amanda Ben. Mrs. Blva Briscoe and Mrs. Inea Hayea called on Mrs. Mary O. Carey Tuesday. Mrs. Barnes and her mother. Mrs. Wilson, of Phoenix, are recovering niceiy rrom tneir bruises, oaused by the wreck of their car In Medford recently.
