(AP) Orders booked by S65 mills In Oregon and Washington for the week ending March 24 were about 6.800.000 feet higher than the preceding week or 8.3 per cent, while the unfilled order file stood at 397,954,581 feet, an In crease of about 7,500,000 feet, the West Coast Lumbermen's association said today. A production of 99.978,784 feet of lumber for the week was reported by 577 down and operating mills, about the same as the week before. The pack, about one and one-half miles square, broke away from the mainland and carried 250 men toward the open sea. along with 65 horses. Two icebreakers rescued B4 of the fishermen. A dense fog draped the gulf and rescue parties were unable to locate the drifting pack.
