The demonstration will help grow ers to arrive at a method of applica tion that will insure complete cover age. Growers Interested should be present at the time specified. PRECINCT POSTS ATTRACTING MANY A. L. Smith of Derby today filed for precinct committeeman from the Derby precinct. For the first time In many years. Interest for some reason has been high in Democratic precinct commit teemen. Some of the precincts have three aspirants for the berth. In normal times, it was difficult to get a Democrat to run for so lowly an office. Many of the committeemen candidates have chosen slogans pro claiming support of the president, economy, efficiency, more money and "the next generation of children." Democratic leaders aay the desire to be precinct committeeman "Is sim ply an urge to show that the Demo crats are alive." Cynical Republicans attribute the filings "to keep from running for sheriff."
