It was clear that as number one point, he will ask that the average work ing week for American labor be brought down to 36 hours with un reduced pay. The 36-hour-week program, al though still resisted by many indus tries, will find some ready accept ances. The administration has been Informed by several groups that they will do what Is asked of them.
