Rust, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick T. Rust of Everett, Wash., and Howard F. Spauldlng, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Spalding of Medford, both Stan ford university people, were mar ried. The Rev. Stanley Morrison, pas tor of the First Presbyterian church of Palo Alto, performed the cere mony in a room decorated In ferns and pink and lavender blossoms, and candle lighted. Miss Constance Overton of Pied mont, Calif., a Delta Oimmi sor ority sister of the bride, was her maid of honor. Allan Spalding, brother of the groom, was his best man. Mr. Spalding, a graduate of the Medford high school, graduated from Stanford university In 1031 and re turned the following year to take graduate work. He u a member of an honorary scholastic fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa, and of Theta Delta Chi, social, fraternity. , . After a short honeymoon at Mon terey, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Spalding will return to Crockett, Calif., where Mr. Spalding Is employed In the accounting department of the C. and H. Sugar Refining corporation.
