In the last week of 1933. The Index on the preceding week stood at 73 S. while a year earlier It was 78. The Index Is adjusted for seasonal changes. Factora entering the week's rise of 1.8 points, a relatively large gain, were: Better holding up against sea sonal declines for railroad carload- lnga and production of electric power and lumber.
