(AP) A cheering surprise to turkey growers awooped down on the Christmas mar ket here today when George Mflkins. general manager of the California, Turkey Growers association, announc ed prices to wholesalers had been fixed by the association at IB',4 oenu a pound for toms and 19 'i cents for hens of all sizes. These prices rule the marketing activities of some 600 California grow ers, and also regulate the incoming Oregon business, for which the asso ciation serves as marketing agent. Prices on the Oregon turkeys are the same as those produced In California. Gold Price Same On Thirteenth Day WASHINGTON, Dec. 15. (AP) The governments gold price today was kept at 934.01 an ounce.
