Other officers elected were: O. T. McWhorter of Corvnllls, aecretary treartlirer: P. E. Chambers of Eugene, first vice president: Elmer Chastaln of Mllton-Preewater, second vice president, and Gordon Voonhlea of Med ford, third vice president. Olenn B. Mnrsh of Hood River wa named a director, to serve with Howard Merrlem of Goshen and R. R. Reter of this city. The by-laws were amended to pro vide for election of district vice presidents, with powers to call dis trict meets between the annual meetings, to keep Interest high throughout the year. In a resolution adopted unani mously, the Elks lodge of this city was thanked for extending the use of quarters for holding the sessions; the Chamber of Commerce for splen did co-onerntlon. ana me ouv-oi-town speakers for their contributions Tii twn-rlnv session was well at tended and Dean W. All the speakers brought messages of substantial cheer for the future and told of aigna pointing to lessen ing of the stress In agriculture and horticulture. The offering of the evening la to be used In purchasing music for this choir. The young peo ple of the choir extend a cordial invitation to their service of music.
