Knocks Bumper Off When leaving the curb on North Central avenue, between Fifth and Sixth streets, Mrs. Ray Linn reported to city polios that another car knocked the bumper from her machine. The accident occurred at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Traveling North J. H. Transferred to Klamath Falls Orben Cooksey, employe of the Stand ard Oil station north of the railroad tracks, has been transferred to Klam ath Falls following the discontinuance of all-night service In that station. Mr. and Mrs. Cooksey left for their new home Thursday. Grants Pass Dally Courier. On Hunting Trip Warem Dore mus and W. M. Byrum of Medford were visiting in Ashland Thursday with Mr. and Mra. S. D. Doremua, and were hunting in Valley View. Mr. Doremus in employed at Montgomery Ward's and Mr. Byrum is a Standard Oil employe, the Ashland Tidings states. Conducts Services Last Tuesday evening Rev. Joseph Knotts, pastor of the First Methodist church, motor ed to Selma and held a service with the CCC boys camped at that place The service was held around a huge bonfire. Marvin Burke accompanied Rev. Knotts on the trip. Carters Oo North Mr. and Mrs. George Carter left this afternoon for Eugene to attend "Dad's day" fes tivities at the University of Oregon tomorrow. Their son Max is a stu dent this year at the university. While In the north they will visit other relatives in Eugene and their son Bob, who is attending Oregon State col lege. Sweeney left Medford yester day for Oregon City, called north by the death of Mrs. Sweeney's father, J. A. Confer, for whom funeral serv ices will be held tomorrow. Chorus to Meet There will be a meeting tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock, in the county courthouse auditorium of the Jackson county teachers' chorus, under direction of Miss Harriet Baldwin. The meeting will be preceded by one of the first aid group. Noe In Accident Clarence T. Noe of 233 South Riverside avenue filed an accident report with the city police concerning a collision on the Crater Lake highway at 8:15 o'clock last evening. Charles Bouasum waa list ed as a witness. The report stated that the truck with which he collided was on the wrong side of the road, on a curve. The aid of the Mall Tribune was asked today by G. Rongsted of 1130 Second avenue, East, Kallspell, Mont., In an effort to locate Samuel H. Bau man, formerly of Great Falls, Mont. The latter nad an aunt living In Medford 12 or 13 yean ago, Rong sted announced In his letter that he has tried to locate the man In nu merous cities and failed.
