Jimmy Zlnn subdued the Angel sluggers with seven blows In the opener, while his, mates landed on Miller and Ballou for 13. Ballou stayed in the seraph box and came off second best in a tight pitching tussle with Curt Davis tn the night cap. Each granted only four hits. Los Angeles won the series, 4-3. Portland finished with a rush to win all three week-end games from Seattle, coming oit ahead 3-3 Sat urday and 15-4, o-3 yesterday. The week-end cleanup gave the Beavers the scries 6-3 and sent them one game ahead of Hollywood.
