(AP) Leroy Haynes, 197 pounds, Pasa dena negro, floored Kay Christner, 310, Akron. O. Halght, who has been asked to take over the Medford team. Oeorge Sowers, who formerly managed the Medford team. has gone to California. Halght, with Hooater Roffard, was In Ashland yesterday, conferring with Billy Hulen, and reported that they now hope to organize a league com posed of Ashland, Roseburg, Medford Eagle Point, Klamath Falls, and per haps Grants Pass, Hilt and Yreka. All baseball minded persons In the valley are asked to meet at the Ash land armory Friday night to make plana for the new league, Halght an nounced this morning. If the proposed new league is formed.
