Mr. Mellon, who returned to his , home In Washington today, said he did not want to be understood as en dorsing currency Inflation, proposed stiver legislation, proposals to Issue flat money or reduce the gold con tent qf the dollar. Re said there were parts of the administration program such as the gold embargo and continuance of the government's open market policy which were Justifiable and he hoped would have a beneficial effect.
