Chemawa Indian Cagers to Invade Tigers Lair Friday, Saturday HIGHLY TOUTED TO PLAY Indian Boys Boast But One Defeat for Season Good Preliminary Games Ar ranged for Both Evenings Chemswa's Indian warriors will ar rive In Medford: on toe evening train tomorrow to do battle with the Med ford Tiger basketball team Friday and Saturday nights In what will be the best basketball aeries seen hen this year. Chemawa cornea to Med ford with an enviable record of only one defeat, and of victories over sev eral Portland high schooli. No one has the bravery to make any predic tions as to the outcome. Brown of the Tigers has been laid up with the flu. but It baok In aihool today and may sea action to morrow night or In the Saturday gams at least, but may not play the full game, Coach Burgher eald. Brown Is a regular guard, and -umsn and Hammock have been fighting It out for the forward berth. If Brown is unable to play White may take his plaoe. Locals Going Good The Tigers have been hitting the high spots since weir victory over the' strong Klamath team, and now have hopes of completing the season wltbou another defeat. That would mean a shot at the stats champllon ship.' Medford's basketball schedule Is pretty well filled for the balance of the season. Good Preliminaries reltmlnarles arranged for the games with Chemawa tomorrow night and Saturday ara between the South Methodist and Tiger Cubs on Fri day and Fhooiilx high school and the Cubs on Saturday. Chemawa comes to Medford with a team of husky, dusky towers, and all Medford aporta tana who want to see ' a group of genuine Indians on the j warpath will have the chance of a lifetime.
