(P A resolution calling upon the state legislature to amend the teacher ten ure law to provide for retiring teach ers at the age of 65, was adopted, four votes to two, by the Portland school board last night. The vote followed a conference be tween board members and teachers from which representatives of the press were excluded. This action led William J.
