FARES SOUTH CUT General reductions In Southern Pacific's popular "tourist" one-way and round-trip fares between Oregon cities and California became effective January 1, according to J. C. Carle, local agent. Examples of the new fares from here are: 1 12.00 one-way and 16. 00 round-trip, San Francisco, and $21.50 one-way and $28.70 round trtp, Los Angeles. Fares on a similar low basis will be offered to other California cities. These fares are on sale dally, J. C. Carle said, and are good for travel In chair cars or In tourist sleeping cars, the latter plus berth charges as low as $1.50 for night ride. Tickets sold at these fares will carry new privileges in the form of five-day limit on one way tickets, 21-day return limit on round-trips. Stopover privileges will be allowed on both one-way and round-trip tickets. Free baggage allowance Is 100 pounds. Antelope ANTELOPE, Jan. 3. (Spl.) Mr. Jack Wood arm Mrs. c. R.
