He denounced the transactions as "the inevitable working out of the holding company concept, uncontrolled by effective public relations." (AP) A prelim inary copy of an Inltlatlva petition was filed In' the state department here today seeking repeal of the ex isting laws prohibiting the manufac ture of sale of Intoxicating liquor within the state and making Impor tations illegal. Repeal of these laws would wipe out all prohibition ln forcement statutes in the state. The preliminary petition was filed by George Bylander of Portland. The completed petitions must contain the slgnaturea of 26,686 qualified voters. Bylander asks that the proposal be referred to the votera at the general election in 1934. PEDUM TRADE Herbert Meusel of the Rogue River Meat company announced today that an order had been received by the company for a shipment of 3000 tur keys to Petal uma, Calif.
